This VFX was made using Unity’s VFX graph. This effect has multiple points to create an arc along. With these anchor points, I could pinpoint the start and end, and create variation in the arcs since there would be 5 instances.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The assignment for the module Building Playful worlds was to make an environment with an interaction that created a mood switch.<\/strong><\/p>

We had to base our concept off of an AI generated image. I took inspiration from the hazy purple vibe, and came up with something more.<\/p>

You have to activate 5 mystical obelisks<\/strong>. They power up the central obelisk<\/strong>, which causes the magic of the place to take over and create a new atmosphere.<\/p>

Originally, there was lore with small creatures<\/strong> who were linked to these obelisks<\/strong>. Unfortunately, they had to be scrapped due to overscope.<\/p>

The first 3D foliage asset I ever made are the artisitc purple flowers. They were based on concept art of Lorenzo Lanfranconi.<\/p>
